Basic Strategy for Double Exposure
Because you can see both of the dealer's cards, the basic strategy for Double Exposure Blackjack is fundamentally different from standard blackjack. Players who use a standard blackjack chart at a Double Exposure table will make costly mistakes. Here's what you need to know when playing at ph.888.
Hard Hands: Be More Aggressive
When the dealer shows a weak total — say, 12 to 16 — you should stand more often than you would in regular blackjack, because you know for certain the dealer is in trouble. Conversely, when the dealer shows a strong total like 18 or 19, you need to hit more aggressively to have any chance of winning, since ties go to the dealer.
